About Back to Back Beams

Back-to-back beams are a type of structural element used in the construction of buildings and other structures. They are typically made of steel and consist of two beams that are placed back-to-back, with their flanges (the top and bottom horizontal parts of the beam) facing each other. This creates a strong and rigid structure that can support a significant load. Back-to-back beams are often used as structural support beams in buildings, as well as in the construction of bridges, warehouses, and other structures. They are also used in the manufacture of machinery and equipment. The strength and stiffness of back-to-back beams can be controlled by the size and thickness of the beams, as well as the shape of the cross-section.
